Since 2016, EBCOG has been conducting a final summative examination for specialty trainee doctors for the award of “European Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology – EFOG-EBCOG”. Following the implementation of European Training Curriculum (PACT) by EBCOG-UEMS, trainees have requested new tools to be introduced for their interim assessment as they progress through their training. The risk of vertical transmission during vaginal delivery in COVID-19 pregnant patients is currently a topic of debate. Obstetric norms on vaginal birth assistance to reduce the potential risk of perinatal infection should be promoted by ensuring that the risk of contamination from maternal anus and faecal material is reduced during vaginal delivery. The Netherlands at the EURAPAG congress being held from 3 to 6 June 2020. The forthcoming meeting which will be the 15th edition of the of the EURAPAG congress is being hosted by the Dutch Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology (DutchPAG) in conjunction with the EURAPAG board.
