EBCOG breaking news – Formative Assessment

Since 2016, EBCOG has been conducting a final summative examination for specialty trainee doctors for the award of “European Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology – EFOG-EBCOG”. Following the implementation of European Training Curriculum (PACT) by EBCOG-UEMS, trainees have requested new tools to be introduced for their interim assessment as they progress through their training. How to reduce the potential risk of vertical transmission of SARS-CoV-2 during vaginal delivery?

The risk of vertical transmission during vaginal delivery in COVID-19 pregnant patients is currently a topic of debate. On the 30th ENTOG Council Online, Albania and Serbia, by their representatives Arlinda Almaslari (Albania) and Alexandar Rakic (Serbia), presented an application to be part of ENTOG and were elected as members by the National Representatives votes! Congratulations!
