Our secretary general Goknur Topcu has conducted the hospital visit in Antwerp successfully together with the chair of the SCTR Prof. Juriy Wladimiroff and Dr.Steven Meyers. The department consisted residents from all four universities of the Flemish region. All the departments have been accredited by EBCOG over the past few years.This ObGyn department of GZA hospital in Antwerp has been visited twice and is now visited for the third time for reaccreditation by EBCOG.
We are looking forward to welcome you to the 2018 ENTOG Exchange (www.entog2018.com) in France, which is now open for application! This year’s Exchange will be held from Monday 5th to Wednesday 7th of March 2018, followed by the ENTOG Scientific Meeting and Council on Thursday 8th of March 2018. At the ENTOG council on 3 June 2017 three executive member posts are up for election; the post as president, the post as secretary general and a post as member. Executive member Agnieszka Horala will be running for president. Bids for all three executive posts are welcome. As a member of the ENTOG executive you become part of a five person international team. We meet 1-2 times annually in person and have monthly skype meetings. ENTOG has received a unique offer from the Russian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology, Moscow, Russia. They are offering trainees from across Europe to visit the Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology in Moscow, Russia (http://www.ncagip.ru/en/). Visits will be arranged independently and will have a duration of up to four weeks within the year 2017. Visits will include access to the entire department including the clinical departments, labs, outpatient clinics, operating rooms and simulation-training center, and participation in the Centers daily activities. This year at the ENTOG council the host of the 2019 ENTOG exchange will be elected. The annual ENTOG exchange is a unique event where trainees from across Europe meet and visit the hosting country to experience training and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. If your national society is interested in hosting the ENTOG exchange in 2019 please send your candidature to the ENTOG executive (firstname.lastname@example.org). The 2017 ENTOG exchange and meeting is hosted in Slovenia from 29 May – 3 June 2017. The exchange candidates have been selected and we are looking forward to welcome approximately 45 exchangees from across Europe. For the first time in ENTOG history, ENTOG will be hosting a short term fellowship in May 2017. The fellowships are offered in collaboration with the Turkish Society in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (TSOG). The 10 candidates have been elected and come from France, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Slovakia and the United Kingdom. Congratulations to the 10 candidates.
